Carli Suspension CS-FHMSS-08 High Mount Steering Stabilizer

The Carli Suspension High Mount Steering Stabilizer CS-FHMSS-08 enhances steering control in your Ford F-250/350 4WD truck. This stabilizer offers improved handling and reduced steering volatility, especially in demanding conditions. Made from premium materials, the stabilizer features a stainless-steel body, black-anodized billet aluminum top cap, and PTFE-lined 1/2" bearings for long-lasting smooth operation. The heat-treated nitrided shaft ensures resistance to corrosion and durability. Adjust the nitrogen charge from the factory-set 200 psi down to a neutral range of 40-70 psi using the Schrader valve, allowing for non-directional damping. The precision-engineered sealing system includes a plastic gunk-guard and multi-layer shaft guide, protecting the internals from contaminants and ensuring optimal performance, even with larger tires like 35" and 37".

While a steering stabilizer helps improve steering feel and control, it's not a solution for death wobble or wandering. It helps mitigate contributing forces but should be used alongside proper alignment, tire balance, and suspension maintenance. While stock stabilizers are sufficient for factory tires, the Carli High Mount Steering Stabilizer ensures better stability, reduced road noise, and improved driver comfort, delivering a more predictable, responsive driving experience.

Installs up and out of the way with the provided frame hardware and Drag-Link Bracket. A higher nitrogen charge pushes to the left to counter-act a Right-Hand Tire Pull. Combine with a Carli Low-Mount for a true, infinitely adjustable stabilization system for optimal damping with any tire.
