Sommige samenwerkingen voelen meteen legendarisch aan — en The Amp: Benson Edition is er zo één. Na jaren ontwikkeling bundelen Milkman Sound en Benson Amps hun krachten om iets unieks te bouwen: de iconische Benson Chimera/Monarch-voortrap in het compacte, road-ready formaat van The Amp.

Het resultaat? Een handgebouwde tone-machine die klinkt, reageert en voelt als een echte Benson buizenversterker, maar dan zonder het gesjouw.

Net als de andere Amp-modellen kan deze direct een speakerkast aansturen, maar ook moeiteloos de studio in via de gebalanceerde XLR-out met schakelbare cab sim, line outs en een krachtige headphone amp. Perfect voor thuis, podium en opname—zonder compromis.

Chris Benson stemde persoonlijk de cab sim af om bijna identiek te klinken aan zijn eigen ceramic speakers. Nieuw is de Room-control: een subtiele simulatie van vroege reflecties die je normaal hoort wanneer een echte amp de ruimte in ademt. Deze werkt niet alleen op de direct outs, maar zelfs via de speaker out—ideaal voor stille stages en ISO-cab setups die nét wat meer diepte kunnen gebruiken.

Tonaliteit staat zoals altijd centraal:

  • Sprankelende cleans

  • Zwoele edge-of-breakup klanken

I loved Cook This Book. Mine has a permanent crease on the Caesar salad page and the other recipes I have tried have all been winners, so I was excited to get Molly’s next book. My initial browse through the recipes has me excited to try them out, I just cannot understand the choice of this awful font. It is so difficult to read and make out the letters. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be for someone with visual or reading impairments. There is even a fully black page with dark blue font that is basically unreadable (the picture I included is very kind, in real life the contrast is extremely minimal). It’s such a huge distraction from what otherwise appears to be a nice collection.

This would be a great resource for kids that are aging out of foster care and need the guidance of how to manage life. This could also serve to guide adults leaving prison. I wish I would have had something like this when I was becoming an adult because I didn't have the best guidance and figured a lot of stuff out on my own. I will make sure both my kids have a copy to guide them in the event I'm not around to help them. Overall, great book and I'm glad someone wrote it. Lol
