ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Sturdy with Disappointing Details

They seem to be extremely comfortable, but I do worry about the quality in the long run. I wore these shoes one day indoors for 4 hours of kitchen work. The Under Armour logo is already almost gone from the inside of the shoe. I had a previous generation of the same shoe last several years with almost no visual quality decline. I hope this is not an indication of a cheap redesign that will fail in 6 months....... I might come back to update if there are major developments.
