This is a super lightweight and strong quadcopter frame which includes carbon fibre landing gear. The bottom plate includes an integrated power distribution board (PDB) which makes soldering your ESC and battery power cables easy, neat and tidy. This S500 quadcopter frame has a motor to motor distance of about 480mm making it ideal to be used with 9 to 10 inch propellers. Load boom mounts are included on this frame so you can easily attach your battery tray and optional gimbal to this frame making it ideal for a gopro gimbal for aerial filming purposes. The load boom mounts also mean you can slide your battery/gimbal forward and backwards to get the centre of gravity of your quadcopter in the exact centre.
The arms of this quadcopter are fully compatible with our other S-series multirotor frames such as the S550 hexacopter. The arms are constructed with an integrated carbon rod to ensure they are very strong but lightweight. Should you manage to break an arm we sell a bunch of spare arms in multiple colours.
