Overview:The Plasma Storm Clownfish is a striking and selectively bred variety of the popular Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris). This unique variant displays vibrant, electric blue, and deep black markings, creating an almost stormy appearance on its body. Originating from selective breeding programs, Plasma Storm Clownfish are particularly prized for their intense colors and hardy nature, making them a popular choice among both novice and experienced saltwater aquarium enthusiasts.
Origin:
Plasma Storm Clownfish are a selectively bred morph of the Ocellaris Clownfish, originating from captive breeding efforts. They are a domesticated variety, which makes them well-adapted to aquarium life compared to wild-caught clownfish. This strain was developed by breeders looking to enhance the coloration and patterning of traditional clownfish, making it a distinct and rare variant in the aquarium trade.
Feeding:
Plasma Storm Clownfish are omnivorous and relatively easy to feed. In the wild, clownfish primarily consume algae, small invertebrates, and zooplankton. In captivity, they thrive on a varied diet that includes:
High-quality marine pellets and flakes
Frozen foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and chopped seafood
Fresh algae or algae wafers to mimic natural dietary habits
Feeding should be done 2-3 times per day in small portions to prevent overfeeding and maintain optimal water quality.
Tank Mates:
Plasma Storm Clownfish are generally peaceful and can coexist well with other fish species of similar temperament. Suitable tank mates include:
Other peaceful or semi-aggressive fish, like gobies, wrasses, and certain blennies
Small to medium-sized invertebrates like cleaner shrimp and crabs
Avoid keeping with aggressive or predatory fish, such as lionfish or triggerfish
While clownfish do well in community tanks, housing them with compatible species is essential to reduce stress and aggression.
Aggression:
This clownfish variety is known for its generally mild temperament. Plasma Storm Clownfish can, however, show mild territorial aggression, especially if they have established an anemone or specific space in the aquarium. They may defend this area from other fish, particularly other clownfish, unless they are a bonded pair. Single Plasma Storm Clownfish are less aggressive, but if kept in pairs, they may exhibit more territorial behavior as they establish a hierarchy between a dominant female and a smaller male.
Experience Level:
Recommended Experience Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Plasma Storm Clownfish are hardy and resilient, making them ideal for beginner aquarists. Their adaptability to a range of water conditions and diet flexibility contribute to their ease of care. However, if kept with an anemone, a bit more experience with reef aquariums is required, as anemones have specific care needs.
Water Parameters:
Plasma Storm Clownfish are adaptable to various water conditions but thrive best in a well-maintained marine aquarium with stable water parameters:
Temperature: 75°F to 82°F (24°C to 28°C)
pH: 8.1 to 8.4
Salinity: 1.020 to 1.026 specific gravity (SG)
Ammonia, Nitrite: 0 ppm (ideal)
Nitrate: < 20 ppm
Weekly water changes and consistent monitoring are essential to maintain healthy water conditions, especially if the clownfish are housed in a reef tank with live corals or anemones.

Not flimsy
Size: 300 Count (Pack of 1,8.375 Inch), Size: 300 Count (Pack of 1,8.375 Inch)
These paper plates are sturdy and hold food well without bending or leaking. I originally thought they were going to be a little bigger than they are, but I still ended up keeping them and using them regularly. They work great for snacks, lighter meals, and everyday use. The quality is good, they’re easy to store, and the large pack is very convenient.

Great Value Toy
Color: Crinkle Duck (Blue), Size: Large, Color: Crinkle Duck (Blue), Size: Large
This toy has been one of my dog’s absolute favorites. He gets excited every time he sees it and will carry it around the house, toss it in the air, and keep himself entertained for a long time. The shape and texture seem perfect for him, and it quickly became one of his go-to toys over everything else in his basket.
What I really like is that it holds up reasonably well for the price. It’s definitely not indestructible, and after a lot of play, it will sometimes start to rip—usually around the feet first since that’s where my dog tends to grab and chew the most. But honestly, considering how affordable it is, I don’t mind replacing it when needed. It’s inexpensive enough that rebuying feels worth it because he genuinely loves it that much.
I’d rather keep buying a toy he is obsessed with than spend more on something that just sits untouched. It’s fun, cute, and keeps him happy, which is what matters most. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for dogs who love plush toys and playful chewing.
