With a combined 40 years of both fly tying and on stream fly fishing experience Glenn Weisner and Wayne Samson of Glenn River Fly Co. conduct private fly tying sessions, on-stream educational workshops and make and sell their flagship product, that Glenn Weisner has been tying flies since a seventh grade science fair project and has honed his tying skills tremendously thanks in part to private lessons, workshops and personal coaching from life-long friend Chris Helm.

Glenn most enjoys tying trout flies and is recognized for his interest in Midge patterns and Terrestrials. Wayne Samson has been fly fishing and tying flies for nearly fifteen years. Originally a warm water fisherman, he started by experimenting with bass bugs using deer hair. Soon after, he met Chris Helm who has rounded out Wayne's tying, especially deer hair. Wayne's specialty remains deer hair bugs and hair work in general but he also has great breadth and depth in other areas such as epoxy, saltwater, classic Atlantic salmon and all trout flies.
