Петро Лущик (нар. 1963 р.) — український письменник, автор історичних романів, лауреат літературного конкурсу 'Коронація слова'. Після закінчення фізичного факультету Львівського університету ім. Івана Франка працює вчителем, поєднуючи педагогічний досвід із літературною майстерністю.

Четверта, п’ята і шоста книги 'Галицької саги' охоплюють період 1929—1942 років, коли Європа невпинно наближалася до нової війни, яка зрештою вибухнула. У 'Майбутній силі' йдеться про пацифікацію, що стала відповіддю Польщі на діяльність ОУН, і про політичну напругу, яку відчули навіть у селі Перетин. У 'Ante bellum' змінюється покоління: молодь обирає між землею, боротьбою чи еміграцією, а конфлікт між 'стариками' й молодими радикалами поглиблюється. У 'Невиправданих сподіваннях' українці зустрічають Червону армію як визволительку, але незабаром нова влада приносить репресії, виселення і страх. А далі — надії на німців, які швидко перетворюються на розчарування: гетто, депортації до Німеччини, новий поділ України.

У видавництві 'Фоліо' також вийшли друком інші твори Петра Лущика.
