Light: Place your Mammillaria spinosissima ‘Un Pico Cristata’ in bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. It enjoys plenty of light but should be protected from the harshest midday rays, which can scorch its surface. A sunny windowsill is ideal.
Water: Like most cacti, it prefers to dry out completely between waterings. During spring and summer, water sparingly once the soil is fully dry. In autumn and winter, reduce watering to once every few weeks or less. Overwatering is the quickest way to harm this plant, so lean on the dry side.
Non-toxic, however, its spines can be sharp, so handle with care.
