Alpine Warmth. Classic Style.

Expertly handcrafted in Somerset, England, this rich brown sheepskin trapper hat combines heritage craftsmanship with superior warmth. Available in two premium shearling finishes—classic Snowcap Wool and Merino Cool Wool—it offers versatile comfort for cold weather, whether on brisk walks, country trails, or winter travels.

Designed with tie-down ear flaps for customizable coverage, this unisex hat provides exceptional protection from wind, snow, and cold. It’s the ultimate winter companion—functional, luxurious, and made to last for years of wear.

The natural sheepskin adjusts to your head shape over time, creating a personalized fit. To find your size, measure around your head just above the ears and across the forehead, where a hat naturally rests. With its natural stretch and soft wool lining, it molds perfectly for comfort and warmth.

Material

The sheepskin features a durable hide with a beautifully soft curly wool interior.

  • Napalan Finish: A lightly coated leather surface that offers protection against stains and wear while adding a refined sheen.
  • Hurricane Napalan: Features a vintage, distressed look that deepens over time, developing a rich patina.
  • Snowcap Shearling: A tipped texture that enhances the curl and adds depth and visual warmth.

Product Care

Store your sheepskin hat in a clean, dry, dark place—preferably in a sealed dust or garment bag. Avoid long-term exposure to light, which can fade the color, and protect it from moths or rodents when stored for extended periods.

  • For Sueded Sheepskin: Revive dullness with a dry scouring pad (foam side first). Brush gently with long strokes, shake out dust, and vacuum to lift the nap.
  • For Rain Exposure: Let dry naturally in an airy, warm place. Once dry, manipulate the leather to soften, then brush with the pad to restore texture.
  • For Stains: Spot clean immediately with mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid soaking; clean a wide area to prevent color variation. For grease or ink stains, contact us directly for guidance.
  • For Wool Side: Use a comb or soft brush for light maintenance. For tight curls, avoid brushing—shake, vacuum, or spot clean instead.
  • Professional Cleaning: Avoid dry cleaning; consult a leather specialist experienced with sheepskin.

Great Book.
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.

Format: Paperback
Excellent articulation of the Black Power initiative within the Civil Rights Movement. A detailed view of Black Power, it's objectives, how these would be achieved, as well as it's misinterpretations. An afterword from each author appended in 1992 provides insight, reflection, and perspective on all that's changed, and what hasn't, since the book's publishing.

Get one while you can
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Any book with the name Stokely Carmichael is a rare find. You can easily find the same book with Kwame Ture as the author since he changed his name and so later editions reflects the name change. Kwame Ture (fka Stokely Carmichael) changed his name for a reason. However, those of us from the sixties can never forget him nor the name Stokely Carmichael.
