This is an orange and gold speckle on a beige base. DK is a standard DK weight yarn made from 100% superwashed merino meaning that the fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not felt when dyed or washed. It is the perfect yarn for an easy care

DK is a standard DK weight yarn made from 100% superwashed merino meaning that the fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed. It is the perfect yarn for an easy-care garment. With a 4/9nm construction, the yarn has lovely stitch definition and can be readily used in any pattern using a standard DK weight yarn. The Merino is mulesing-free and comes from Peru. Care Instructions: Machine washable on a wool program ideally using a wool detergent at 30C or below. Dry flat, do not sun dry or tumble dry. Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance.
It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts.
It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner.
Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
