De verschillende crisissen van de laatste jaren in de landbouwsector moedigden Jean Franois, de jonge zoon met een passie voor landbouw, aan om na te denken over een nieuwe richting voor het familiebedrijf. In 2005 kwam hij op het idee om een wijngaard van 5 hectare aan te leggen in Haspengouw.
