Met de flesvazen probeert Foekje Fleur meer aandacht geven aan het groeiende probleem van zwerfafval en de plastic soep in onze oceanen. Flesvaas #10 fresh yellow is onderdeel van de Maas Collectie.

Gemaakt in een atelier in Jingdezhen, China waar de passie voor de traditionele ambachten gecombineerd worden met de liefde voor de Chinese geschiedenis. Maar waar wel een eigentijdse draai gegeven wordt aan de klassieke porseleintechniek.

De flesvazen zijn gemaakt van biscuit porselein en heeft aan de buitenkant een matte afwerking die lijkt op plastic. De binnenkant van de porseleinen Flesvaas #10 is geglazuurd om hem waterdicht te maken en geschikt als vaas. Mooi verpakt in een kartonnen doos, met een kleine brochure is deze flesvaas van Foekje Fleur ook een mooi cadeau.

Was de fles na gebruik van de vaas met milde zeep, warm water en een borstel. Laat het te drogen op een schone handdoek. Vetvlekken kunnen worden verwijderd door in zachte zeep te wrijven, deze een nacht te laten staan en te reinigen zoals hierboven beschreven. Bewaar deze fles altijd binnen en bewaar hem op een droge plaats, aangezien er na verloop van tijd vochtig vuil in de buitenkant kan komen. Je kunt ook vloeistoffen in de fles bewaren. Sluit de flesvaas dan af met een kurk.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
