Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüssler, een Duitse arts, ontwikkelde in de 19e eeuw de basis voor de celzouttherapie met 12 zogenaamde Schüsslerzouten. Later werden er, volgens dezelfde principes, nog 15 extra zouten toegevoegd. Inmiddels zijn er 27 verschillende Schüsslerzouten, elk met een eigen mineraal in homeopathische verdunning. De tabletten worden volgens de officiële farmaceutische richtlijnen bereid en zijn geregistreerd als homeopathisch geneesmiddel.

Nr. 5 – Kalium phosphoricum D6 – behoort tot de 12 basisschüsslers. Binnen de homeopathische mineralenleer wordt dit zout door sommigen gekozen in perioden waarin men zich wil focussen op balans tijdens drukke of veeleisende dagen, bijvoorbeeld bij intensief denk- of studeerwerk. De tabletten lossen langzaam op in de mond, waardoor het mineraal via het mondslijmvlies wordt opgenomen.

De keuze voor een specifiek Schüsslerzout is persoonlijk en kan afhankelijk zijn van individuele omstandigheden. I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.
