De druiven zijn afkomstig van wijngaarden met een gemiddelde leeftijd van 75 jaar op het zuiden. De wijngaarden zijn gelegen in de gelijknamige plaats waar het landgoed zich bevindt en waar de Oreno rivier doorheen stroomt. Op een hoogte van 250 meter genieten de wijnstokken van het uitstekende klimaat. De bodem is rijk aan kalk en kenmerken zich door vele stenen in de grond. In de wijngaard wordt enkel met de hand gewerkt. Zo worden de druiven volledig met de hand geoogst, op basis van een zorgvuldige selectie van alleen de allerbeste druiven. Want alleen het beste is goed genoeg voor de wijnmakers van Tenuta Sette Ponti. De druiven worden verzameld in kratten van maximaal 15 kilo en naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier worden de druiven op de sorteertafels nog een keer geselecteerd op kwaliteit. Hierna ondergaan ze een zachte persing en het vergistingsproces voor een periode van 25 dagen bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur. De wijn rijpt in Frans eiken barriques voor een periode van 14 maanden, hierna is het tijd om de wijn te bottelen. De wijn krijgt dan de tijd om zich op de fles verder te ontwikkelen. Bij de samenstelling van de blend houden de wijnmakers rekening met de beste eigenschappen van elke druivensoort. Zo zorgt de Merlot voor de structuur, de Cabernet Sauvignon voor de klasse en de elegantie is afkomstig van de Petit Verdot. Deze robijnrode wijn van Tenuta Sette Ponti heeft een overweldigende geur die vol en complex is met hints van rijpe bramen, chocolade en balsamico. Hij heeft een rijke smaak die dynamisch is waarin het eikenhout mooi naar voren komt en afsluit met een prachtige lange afdronk.Shipping Notes

No chemicals that will be harmful!

Ordered this mineral sunscreen looking for something simple and effective, and it’s been a solid option so far.
The zinc oxide formula is the main reason I went with it. It doesn’t rely on the same chemical ingredients found in a lot of other sunscreens, which is a big plus if you’re trying to avoid that. It feels like a cleaner option overall.
Coverage is good. It spreads evenly and holds up well, even with some water exposure. I’ve used it outdoors for extended periods, and it does its job without needing constant reapplication.
It does leave a slight white cast at first, which is pretty typical with mineral sunscreens, but it fades in as you rub it in. Not completely invisible, but manageable.
After a few uses, what stood out most is that it doesn’t have a strong smell and doesn’t irritate the skin. It just works without a lot of extras.
Compared to standard chemical sunscreens, this feels more straightforward and less harsh, especially for regular use.
For the price, it’s a great value. You’re getting strong sun protection without the added ingredients some people try to avoid.
If you’re looking for a mineral-based sunscreen that’s effective and a bit cleaner in formulation, this is a solid choice.

Great mineral sunscreen that actually works

Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 has become my daily go-to. It goes on smooth, doesn’t leave a weird white cast like some mineral sunscreens, and gives solid protection. I like that it’s 100% mineral with no harsh chemicals and has organic aloe vera in it, so my skin feels hydrated instead of dried out. No greasy feeling, no strong scent, and it holds up well even when I sweat a bit. Been using it for a few weeks now and it performs exactly how I want. Small bottle but a little goes a long way. Definitely recommend if you want a simple, effective mineral option.

Fabulous product! Made my skin feel soft!

This product goes on smooth and a little goes a long way. I used it today for the first time and was very pleased that it held up to my sweating in the heat doing farm work! It doesn’t bother my very sensitive skin, in fact it is quite soothing. A little goes a long way. With about a quarter size amount I was able to do both arms and my face. I was outside for several hours and didn’t burn like I usually do. It is basically unscented which is nice and isn’t sticky.

Not a bad sunscreen. I wore it yesterday at a water park, reapplied every 1-2 hours, and didn’t get burned. Works well as a sunscreen and has a very neutral scent, which I appreciate a lot. However, like most mineral sunscreens it feels a bit heavy and definitely has a white cast. I’m pretty pale and still had a hard time getting it to blend in. It’s priced well, available at many super markets, offers good protection, and the neutral scent means I will continue using it (I stopped using some other sunblocks because of the scent alone). Just know it feels heavy and has a white cast.

Favorite Mineral Sunscreen

This is my go to mineral sunscreen. It's very effective at protecting your skin from the harsh UV rays. It great to use for any water based activities, since it stays on your skin regardless of how wet it gets. I'm also able to use it under my eyes without it irritating them. Though it does leave behind a white cast after applying, but I personally don't mind it.
