Bovendien overtuigt de Pedelec 1.1 door een hoog draagcomfort. Abus in-mold helmen zijn goed geventileerde helmen waarvan de buitenschaal permanent met het EPS verbonden is. Zij worden gekenmerkt door een laag gewicht en een slank design. Voor extra veiligheid op de weg is de helm voorzien van reflectoren en led-achterlichten. Het led-achterlicht is hoog aangebracht en zorgt voor een betere zichtbaarheid. De hoge positie van het achterlicht zorgt ervoor dat deze niet kan worden afgedekt door sjaals, hoge kragen of rugzakken.
