Ondanks zijn compacte formaat biedt deze transceiver een breed scala aan functies en is hij volledig programmeerbaar via de optionele PRG-10 software.

De CT310 werkt op de 144–146 MHz (VHF) en 430–440 MHz (UHF) frequentiebanden en beschikt over 200 programmeerbare kanalen. Dankzij het uitgangsvermogen van 5 watt, geavanceerde DSP-technologie en ondersteuning van meerdere repeater-tonen (1750/1450/1000/2100 Hz), ben je verzekerd van uitstekende communicatie – zelfs over lange afstanden.

Voor extra gebruiksgemak biedt de CT310 ook een FM-radio (76–107.95 MHz), een VOX-handsfreefunctie, sos-noodfunctie, stopwatch, scanfunctie en een automatische uitschakeling. Met 51 CTCSS-tonen en 1024 DCS-codes kun je bovendien gescheiden communiceren binnen specifieke gebruikersgroepen.

I brought this book and told them a few things covered in the book... like where the manger was. When we left, I offered to leave the book if anyone wanted to look at it... one of the girls excitedly said she was hoping I would leave it. She really wanted to read it. I couldn't have been more thrilled. I would encourage anyone interested in this book to buy it, read it, and give it to someone else who will read it too. For the money, what a great witnessing tool!
