Een uniek meesterwerk is deze Didyme van Tasca, gemaakt van enkel Malvasia druiven die opgroeien in het warme Sicilia. Van oorsprong is het een druif die vaak wordt gebruikt voor zoete witte wijnen, hierdoor is deze droge witte wijn zo uniek. De druif zag zijn eerste daglicht in Griekenland en is tegenwoordig meer vertegenwoordigd in landen zoals Italie. De wijnmaker van Tasca heeft liefde voor deze witte Malvasia en maakt met grote passie de Didyme wijn. En dat merken we alles, de geur en smaak zitten vol passie en is hiermee een van onze favorieten van Tasca. Ook Robert Parker wist deze wijn te bekoren en gaf hem maar liefst 91 punten in zijn carrière.De oude wijngaard van Didyme
Zoals we al vertelde is deze witte Didyme gemaakt van de Malvasia druif die opgroeit in het zonnige Sicilia. In de oude wijngaard is het binnen halen van de oogst een precisie werkje. Want rijpen de druiven te lang dan krijgen te veel suiker, hierdoor wordt de oogst voor deze Didyme juist heel vroeg binnen gehaald. Midden in de nacht start men met het binnen halen van de Malvasia druiven. Dit doet men om de druiven in rust binnen te halen en zo min mogelijk te beschadigen tijdens het transport.Hoe smaakt de Tasca Didyme
Deze Malvasia druif groeit in een warm klimaat, bij uitstek perfect voor Sicilië. Maar ze krijgen ook veel koelte van de zee wind en nacht temperatuur. Dat is ook wel nodig om een frisse wijn te maken van deze druif. In de geur een hele stuivende witte wijn, met een intense indrukken van bloemen, abrikozen, gele pruimen en boenwas. Maar vooral intens en krachtig, wat hem echt heel bijzonder maakt. De rijpe indrukken zetten zich voort in de smaak, strak droog met aroma's van rijpe peer, gele pruimen en mooie zuren. Krachtige droge witte wijn die heelrijk is bij een onder ander garnalen, vitello tonato en risotto. Maar vergeet de schaal en schelpdieren niet want daar past deze Didyme wijn ook perfect bij.Shipping Notes

I think it's large for a clutch,but it's beautiful!

I ordered this purse because I just love how different and fun it is. I thought it would be great for a sunny vacation. The first thing I noticed when it arrived was that it's much bigger than I thought it would be. The size is mostly in the raffia design. The purse itself is clutch-size, able to hold your phone, credit cards, and some lip gloss. Due to the size of the whole purse, I think it could use an optional strap. The quality and the craftsmanship are top-notch, however. The raffia is amazing, and the colors are very similar to a grass skirt, making it perfect for a tropical vacation or Polynesian-themed get-together.

Taco Purse

This might be the silliest bag my wife and I own, but it's definitely unique. I call it "the taco bag," and that's 100000% what it looks like to me. It's a clutch so it's not practical for every day use if you want to keep your hands free, but it has a fun, summery vibe that makes me think my wife would look great in a sundress at a pool party carrying this. Maybe. I honestly am not sure what kind of outfit this bag goes with, but it is exactly as pictured and it feels very well made, which I have come to expect from Sam Edelman. We have several bags by them and they are all lovely, this is the weirdest one and the hardest to figure out where we're going to use it, but I'm not mad I have it and if you like the taco look it lives up to it in person.
