De focus ligt op maximale luchtstroom, behoud van lage inlaattemperaturen, verbeterde gasrespons en een sportiever inlaatgeluid. Airtec heeft deze intake volledig in-house ontwikkeld en baseert het ontwerp op eerdere succesvolle enclosed induction kits voor andere performance modellen.
Het resultaat is een uitgebreid systeem dat niet alleen de airbox vervangt, maar het volledige inlaattraject van air feed tot turbo-inlaat vernieuwt. Dit maakt deze kit uniek binnen het aanbod voor de Megane MK4 RS. De set is voorzien van een vergrote turbo-inlaatflens met verbeterde flow die direct op de turbo wordt gemonteerd. Deze sluit aan op een vergrote Pro Hoses silicone intake slang, gevolgd door een aluminium intake pipe en een grote cotton air filter. De filter is volledig afgesloten in een vierdelige enclosed airbox en wordt continu gevoed met koele lucht via de originele luchtkanalen. Dankzij dit ontwerp worden inlaattemperaturen laag gehouden, terwijl vermogen, gasrespons en inductiegeluid duidelijk verbeteren.
De intake is afgewerkt in een hoogwaardige zwarte powder coat en vormt een nette OEM+ upgrade in de motorruimte. Montage is volledig plug & play, zonder boren of snijwerk, en alle montagematerialen en instructies worden meegeleverd.
