Bijwerkingen
Bijwerkingen komen zelden voor, maar sommige honden kunnen tijdens de eerste dagen na het aanbrengen een voorbijgaande overgevoeligheidsreactie laten zien: jeuk, wrijven, licht haarverlies en roodheid op de toedieningsplaats. Deze symptomen verdwijnen meestal vanzelf.
Andere, zeldzame bijwerkingen, die doorgaans vanzelf voorbijgaan, zijn:
- Onrust bij de hond (janken, rollen)
- Braken, diarree, overmatig speekselen en gebrek aan eetlust
- Onregelmatige bewegingen en stuipentrekkingen bij honden die gevoelig zijn voor het bestanddeel Permethrine
- Mocht de hond het middel oplikken, dan kan dit leiden tot zenuwverschijnselen zoals trillen en lusteloosheid.
Inhoud: 4 pipetten van 4,0 ml.
Geschikt voor honden tussen de 25 - 40 kilo. Ook zeer geschikt voor honden met vlooienallergie.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest.
It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.

These work well!
These work to keep my mouth moist for hours. The only downside is the glue stays in your mouth till you can scrape it out with your finger. I thought it would dissolve but it didn’t. Very grateful to find something that moistens my mouth for so long though. They’re easy to use too. Taste slightly sweet but otherwise I didn’t notice anything.
