De Wagner Performance intercooler kit is ontwikkeld voor de BMW M5 en M8 (F9X) met de 4.4 liter V8 biturbo motor (S63 B44T4). Deze motor gebruikt een indirect koelsysteem voor de laadlucht; de kit vervangt de originele watergekoelde intercooler voor een betere koeling en prestaties.

De nieuwe prestatiekern meet 192 mm x 156 mm x 128 mm en biedt 75% meer extern kernvolume (3,83 liter vs. OEM 2,19 liter) dan de standaard intercooler. De geoptimaliseerde verhouding tussen binnen- en buitenkoeloppervlak zorgt voor maximale warmteoverdracht. De gegoten aluminium einddozen zijn ontworpen met CAD en geoptimaliseerd met CFD-simulaties voor minimale tegendruk. De intercoolers zijn voorzien van een warmtegeleidende anti-corrosielaag en beschikken over extra WMI-poorten. De montage is 100% plug & play en de kit wordt geleverd met een Teilegutachten.
