Corry en de Rekels – Corry en de Rekels 2 (LP)

Met het album Corry en de Rekels 2, uitgebracht begin jaren ’70, bouwde Corry Konings samen met haar begeleidingsband De Rekels voort op het enorme succes van hun debuut. De groep stond bekend om hun herkenbare Nederlandstalige levensliederen, waarin thema’s als liefde, verlangen en verdriet centraal stonden.

Op deze LP zijn zowel gevoelige ballads als meer opgewekte nummers te vinden, steeds gedragen door de warme en krachtige stem van Corry. Het album bevestigde de status van Corry en de Rekels als een van de meest geliefde Nederlandstalige formaties van die tijd en droeg bij aan hun blijvende populariteit in het genre van het smartlappen- en levensliedrepertoire.
