Deze handgemaakte terracotta Vermicomposter is ideaal om je GFT-afval makkelijk te verwerken en gelijk terug te geven aan het bodemleven in je grond. Het GFT-afval dat je erin stopt, trekt bodemleven aan, wat dan weer helpt de grond te bemesten.

De vermicomposter graaf je in in de grond, totdat je de bovenste gaten niet meer ziet. Anders kunnen de insecten niet naar binnen. Vervolgens vul je hem met kleine stukjes GFT-afval. Het bodemleven, met name regenwormen, wordt hierdoor aangetrokken en helpt dan vervolgens om de voedingsstoffen te verwerken in de grond.

Deze composter is volledig van poreus terracotta. Er worden dus geen schadelijke stoffen afgegeven aan de bodem. Verder is het poreuze terracotta vocht doorlatend waardoor er verder geen vieze prutjes zullen achterblijven onder in de cilinder. Handgemaakt in Frankrijk, ook leuk om te zien. Door je keukenafval te composteren verminder je ook de afvalberg. De compost die je maakt is rijk aan voedingsstoffen, verbetert de bodemstructuur en bevordert gezondheid van je tuinbodem. Zo draag je bij aan een meer circulaire tuin: afval wordt voeding en je hebt minder externe meststoffen nodig.

Still holding up to my super-chewer!

It's a very good product. I would recommend this toy for a heavy chewing dog. My main reasons it's not 5 stars, it's HEAVY and the eyes peeled right off. My pup really likes to throw his toys around, this thing sounds like a cannon ball that's going to go through our floor! He also tries to destroy everything so he was chewing on the eyes and he would have definitely eaten them if I wasn't paying attention. It's not a horrible thing but I obviously don't want him to eat non food things. My dog also likes the squeaker in it, but it's difficult for me to get it to squeak. That's not a big deal though just thought I should mention it. Overall especially for the price, it's a good sturdy product that's cute and it's still holding up. He's chewed parts of the softer areas off a bit, but the rest is very hard so he hasn't made much of a dent. It's also about as big as his head, so he's pretty happy with it!

But I am perfectly fine with spending ~$11 every once in a while for these toys because I know she loves them, and they are not immediately destroyed.
