Bij een zwembad of spa op zoutbasis is het belangrijk om regelmatig te meten of er nog genoeg zout in het water zit. Bij een te laag zoutgehalte wordt er niet genoeg zout omgezet om te desinfecteren, waardoor het water bijvoorbeeld groen kan worden. Met deze Hanna Instruments digitale tester kunt u zowel het zoutgehalte als temperatuur meten. Op het duidelijke LCD-scherm zijn de waarden vervolgens af te lezen. De bediening is heel eenvoudig: er zitten slechts 2 knoppen op de meter. Dit is een aan/uit knop en een knop voor kalibratie. Het zoutgehalte wordt uitgedrukt in gram per liter, nauwkeurig tot 2 decimalen achter de komma (bijvoorbeeld: 3,56 gram).

Een TDS meter meet de totale hoeveelheid zout, mineralen en andere opgeloste stoffen.

Unieke combinatie tussen zout (TDS) en temperatuur

De temperatuursensor wordt niet alleen gebruikt voor het aangeven van de watertemperatuur, maar dient ook als compensatie wanneer u de sensor gaat kalibreren (ijken). Kalibratievloeistof heeft de waarde die op het zakje vermeld staat. Maar wanneer de vloeistof kouder of warmer wordt, verandert deze waarde. Dat betekent dat er bij de kalibratie al een afwijking kan optreden. Met deze tester is dat niet aan de orde, omdat de temperatuursensor de temperatuur van de kalibratievloeistof meet. De tester rekent dit vervolgens om, zodat de kalibratie 100% nauwkeurig is. Dit is uniek bij zwembad testers. De sensoren liggen allebei bloot, waardoor de tester een snellere reactietijd heeft.

Automatische kalibratie: plaats de sensoren in de kalibratievloeistof, druk op 'CAL' en de tester kalibreert automatisch.

Really Nice Shelves BUT....

I do like these shelves, they look great for cheaper low end particle board made to look like wood. However I took off stars because they made installation unnecessarily hard. I'll explain.... If you look in my picture the mounting bracket has plenty of options/slots to use. AND in the instructions they clearly show you how to find studs to properly mount the brackets. Meaning the manufacturer know stud distance. They even show in the instructions that studs are clesrly 16" apart! Now get this, the mounting brackets are plenty long enough (roughly 22" without measuring) to mount on two studs 16" apart so the shelves are mounted in wood which is stronger and superior mounting instead of drywall. HOWEVER, THE SLOTTED HOLES ON THE MOUNTING BRACKET ARE NOT 16" APART. None of them. There's tons of slotted holes to use on the bracket and zero of them are 16" apart. Now if I want to mount screws jn 2 studs I have to drill in the mounting bracket to make a new hole. Taking up extra time, messing with the integrity of the mounting steel. I don't understand. It's almost like they did this on purpose. What should have been a 10-15 minute install turned into getting proper drill bits, drilling metal, and taking 45-50 minutes to do it properly. It just put a sour taste in my mouth and that is my reasoning for the 3 of 5 starts. I would make it 3.5 stars if it was an option. Otherwise the shelves look pretty decent for low end shelving. I recommend them only if you're handy with a drill and tape measure. If you can handle drilling the mount bracket to go into a stud, go ahead and grab these.
