do88 proudly presents the Intake System for BMW M240i and M340i, engineered for high power outputs!

Filtration, airflow and heat are the key considerations when designing a new intake system for a turbocharged engine.

Our do88 intake system has been developed to provide the turbo with good filtration, improved airflow path while also maintaining low inlet temperatures. One design challenge for this B58 Gen 2 Intake system is location, it is just next to the exhaust manifold which rapidly heat soaks this position in the engine bay.

High air intake temperatures are terrible for the engine performance as the turbo would have to build boost with hot, less dense air. This is why a fully sealed intake system is the only way to go to ensure IATs are kept to a minimum. A fully sealed system however has a challenge since it results in a restriction with only one stock air feed in the bottom of the air filter box to draw air in from. During development we noticed the system must have a secondary air feed to remove this restriction. Our sealed airbox also has a heat shield to minimize the radiative heat transfer from the exhaust manifold. To guarantee enough air volume around the filter we designed a large 7 airbox which of course also leaves space for strut braces.

As replacement of the stock intake hose with designed a smoother larger carbon tube. It starts with a diameter of 105mm (4.1 inches) and tapers down seamlessly to fit the turbo inlet. Fitted to the intake tube is our large custom-designed air filter. The filter has a densely knitted cotton gauze for superior filtration.  It is of course washable and reusable for optimum performance and long service life.

The system comes in a few different layouts. It is compatible with the OE turbo inlet - but also with the do88's CNC machined Turbo inlets. Our turbo inlets are avalible in two different versions, for OE or Pure 800 hybrid turbo. Both have a huge 89mm (3.5") hose connection towards the inlet pipe and it has a carefully calculated flow optimated radius which greatly improves the air flow. The addition of the do88 Turbo inlet effectively removes all bottlenecks prior to the turbo to avoid surge even et high power outputs!

Tests conducted in our SuperFlow SF1020 flow bench, clearly demonstrates the importance of this optional Turbo inlet. The intake system alone offers a substantial 15 % airflow increase. Combined with the do88 Turbo inlet (for OE Turbo), the overall airflow increase is a whopping 23 %! We strongly recommend this combination.

The original air filter box and turbo inlet hose are designed with elements that minimize the noise produced by the turbo and the air induction. Specifically, the factory intake hose features two sound silencers to ensure the turbo operates quietly. In contrast, our intake system comes without these noise-reducing elements, allowing a more audible turbo spool and induction sound.

The kit comes in three versions, depending on turbo application:

  1. Without the do88 turbo inlet. The intake system connects to the OE plastic turbo inlet.
  2. Including the CNC-machined do88 Turbo inlet* designed for OE turbo. NOTE read*.
  3. Including the CNC-machined do88 Turbo inlet* designed for Pure 800 turbocharger. NOTE read*.

* The do88 Turbo inlet does not incorporate any crankcase heating element which means the car´s cable connector will be disconnected. We recommend making a custom tune to avoid CEL (Check Engine Light).

Key features:

  • Large 105mm (4,1) custom-designed cotton air filter with densely knitted cotton gauze. The filter is delivered without any filter oil applied therefore we recommend that the air filter is applied with cotton filter oil to increase air filtration if you drive your car in any dusty environments. You can for example use BMC Filter oil with part number "WAFLU250".
  • Washable air filter for optimum performance and long service life.
  • We recommend cleaning the air filter every 10.000 km, please use universal cleaning product designed for cotton air filters. You can for example use BMC Washing fluid with part number "WADET500".
  • A fully enclosed / sealed design, ensuring that only cold air is supplied to keep the IAT´s low.
  • Precision-engineered, design-optimized for unrestricted airflow.
  • Optimized for tuned engines, hybrid turbos and big turbo kits.
  • Increases airflow up to 24 % combined with the optional do88 Turbo inlet designed for the original turbo.
  • Reduced pressure drop and strain on factory components compared to OE intake.
  • Improved throttle and boost response.
  • Smooth design with no sharp or harsh bends or restrictions.
  • Produces an enhanced induction sound from the turbocharger and diverter valve.
  • Compatible with most future mods, i.e. turbo upgrades.
  • UV and heat-resistant, high-gloss clearcoat for lasting protection.

Cute small town and found family.
    Format: Kindle
Evie and Maddox’s story was so sweet. Obviously there were many parts that I wouldn’t call sweet, but overall it was a cute love story. I thought the author did a great job with the Grumpy X Sunshine trope. Cause Maddox is def a big ol grumpy. The found family trope is so strong in this book and I think that might be my fav part! Were there a few parts that Maddox made me realllllll upset? Ohh yes absolutely. In reality tho, that almost made him more believable. In no way am I giving an excuse for how he used her trauma against her. Cause that was absolute trash. But I did enjoy him spending the rest of the book attempting to make up for it. He could’ve groveled more tho lol. I absolutely loved the twins relationship with each character in this book. I think they were so important to the story and added that extra bit. How they protected their mama so fiercely was everything. It felt like some of these scenes were just thrown together. Meaning, some details were just dropped in but no other context with it. Like tidbits of info that didn’t really go with any part. Other scenes were clearly thought out with so much detail. The storyline was really interesting. I enjoyed that the FMC/MMC were able to show their trauma and grow and heal from it. I loved how the author showed the MC’s were able to live outside of their trauma and be who they are, not who the trauma made them. I think this was a very good debut novel depicting just how common the cycle of abuse can be, but even more so how you can break out of it. Not all homes are filled with love and understanding, but Evie was bound and determined to have that in her home.

Please do yourself a favor and read it!

So I saw this book on Instagram from someone I follow and was immediately intrigued. And let me tell you I am so glad I picked this up. I literally could not put it down and read it in a day. I am absolutely in love with evie and Maddox. I mean seriously Maddox 😭 I love him so much and that poor brute has been through so much but is just the most lovable thing. And Evie ugh that woman has been through it but is so strong. Every side character in this book is just as amazing too. The twins, Vic, Lou, and don't even get me started on the other Wilder boys😍 this book had everything, it's emotional, heartbreaking, thrilling and just an all around amazing love story. This will be a book I definitely re-read and I don't do that often. Also need to buy a physical copy like ASAP. But what I really need is Mercy's story like, yesterday. He is absolutely my favorite side character in this book and I will be so sad if he doesn't get his own story!

    Grumpy Sunshine, Small Town Romance
    Format: Kindle
ARC Review 3.75 ⭐️, rounded up to 4 ⭐️’s. I really enjoyed the book and think the author did a good job of drawing her readers into this couple’s world. The characters were complex, but well developed. Even the side characters were amazing. The setting of the story was well thought out and came to life on the pages. There were definitely some plot twists that I didn’t see coming, and some that were anticipated, but with the way they were timed I was still shocked when it happened. And while this wasn’t the spiciest book I’ve ever read, the spice was definitely there. When it hit, it hit hard! Overall, I really enjoyed Evie and Maddox’s story. There were some things that seemed repetitive and that could’ve flowed better for me, and there were errors that a good editor should have caught. I definitely look forward to more books from this author though and am thankful for the opportunity to ARC read this book. This is a book you definitely want to check the trigger warnings before starting. It is packed with trauma and subjects that could be difficult for some readers. Tropes in this book include: Grumpy/Sunshine Small Town Romance Curvy Single Mom FMC Broody Hermit MMC He Falls First Touch Her & ☠️ Previous DV and offscreen SA PTSD rep

    Instantly Needed More...
    Format: Kindle
Tuesday James... lord have MERCY!! I cannot believe this was your first book, to think that you are just getting started terrifies me and leaves me on the edge of my seat! The absolute chokehold that this book has had on me... cannot be put into words. I waited for this book to be released. I saw teaser reels on IG and saved it on my TBR and patiently waited. The moment it became available I DEVOURED it! I read it in one day, and it is definitely in my top favorites of all time and I read a lot. I love a romance book that has a deeper, twisty, trauma filled plot. I like a book about people some would call damaged, (with jagged edges 😉) that have tons of baggage and are an ever evolving work in progress. Maddox and Evie had me from the jump. I have a soft spot for victims of domestic violence and all other forms of abuse as I grew up in a similar environment and when I say that this book captured and represented victims of DV beautifully, I mean it with my whole chest. I saw so many similarities in Evie that I could relate to and how she didn't want to be saved she wanted someone to stand beside her... and boy oh boy was that Maddox Wilder! Maddox is haunted by his own ghosts and after meeting Evie they bond over their pasts and push each other to be better. Evie is the definition of a single mom doing the very best that she can, and I loved every second of sweetness Tuesday shared of her adorable twin boys. I found myself thinking several times, I want to be in Evie and Louisiana's friend circle. This book is angsty, full of funny banter, suspenseful, filled with little boy cuteness/silliness and full of all the steamy good parts. Definitely read the trigger warnings, as it explores darker themes and may not be for everyone. For me this one was a 12 out of 10 and Tuesday James will be an automatic read for me. Do not even get me started on my anticipation for Mr. Mercy Wilder because do not have words. I also CANNOT WAIT for Louisiana's book, I fell in love with her instantly. Do yourself a favor and read this book, it had all the things. And Tuesday, please do us all favor and keep writing books like this one that embed in my brain and I cannot stop thinking about!! Tropes: 🖤 MMC with a Dirty Mouth 💖 Grumpy Neighbor 🖤 Possessive 💖 Single Mom (On the Run) 🖤 Trauma Bonding 💖 Curvy FMC 🖤 Found Family 💖 He Falls First (less) @ashleyheartsbooks

    Evie and Maddox
    Format: Kindle
Please check trigger warnings before diving in. This book was an emotional rollercoaster in the best way. Tuesday James did an incredible job crafting a story that flowed effortlessly while packing a serious emotional punch. The found family dynamic hit me right in the feels, and the backstories? Heart-wrenching. Evie and Maddox have been through so much—it’s impossible not to root for them. Their healing journey isn’t easy, but the way they lean on each other makes every struggle worth it. The side characters were fantastic, bringing warmth, friendship, and that cozy found-family vibe. And Evie’s twin boys? Absolutely adored them. Their bond with Maddox was heart-melting. Speaking of Maddox—his growth was chef’s kiss. He starts off as a broken man, using anger as a shield, but Evie cracks through that armor, bringing light back into his life. Not gonna lie, he irked me around the halfway mark, but once his backstory unfolds, you get it. Was he right? No. But he’s trying, learning, and making up for past mistakes, and I love that. Also, that man and his filthy mouth? Devoured this book the same way he devoured Evie. And Evie? Absolute powerhouse. She’s been through hell but never let her storm touch her babies. Watching her be the best mom while fighting for her own happiness was everything. I’m beyond excited for the next book because if this one is anything to go by, it’s going to be so good. What to Expect: ❤️ Grumpy x Sunshine 🖤Hurt/Comfort ❤️ "Pretty girl" 🖤 Height Difference ❤️ Plus-Size FMC 🖤Single Mom on the Run ❤️ FMC with Physical Scars 🖤Trauma ❤️ Banter 🖤MMC in Glasses ❤️ Who did this to you? 🖤Dark Small-Town Romance ❤️ Found Family Thank you to Tuesday James, the author, and the Author Agency team for the ARC opportunity!
