Premium 1″ Terylene dome tweeters presents crystal clear, detailed highs, for precise imaging and consistent sound with Signature Elite or original Signature Series speakers. The Terylene dome tweeter works in concert with a powerful, low-resonance ceramic motor structure to present highly detailed sound past 40 kHz to maximize the enjoyment of high-resolution music.
Woofer
Polk’s exclusive lightweight Dynamic Balance® Polypropylene Cones deliver spectacular midrange clarity, punchy bass and high efficiency. The 5.25″ mica-fortified polypropylene midrange woofers offer 75 percent more surface area than traditional 4″ height speaker drivers, filling even large rooms with full-range, impactful, enveloping sound.
Built for Pure Sound
A moulded rubber base securely isolates each height module atop its companion speaker*, preventing unwanted artefacts like rattles and buzzes.
*The ES90 is not compatible with ES50 or S50 tower speakers or ES15 or S15 bookshelf speakers.
Five-way nickel-plated binding posts ensure easy connection to your receiver and acoustically inert grilles provide a clean aesthetic without compromising sound quality. Grilles are non-removable.
