Anna Weatherley established a studio in Budapest, Hungary where she trained a group of highly talented master painters to create her collection of hand painted dinnerware and accessories. For many years she has focused on complex and beautiful vibrant colors and unique shapes of porcelain.

Her designs are inspired by early botanical illustrators and flower painters of the 18th century Europe (Redoute, Hooker and Ehret) as well as Dutch still-life paintings. Each piece is finished with a rich hand painted gold trim.

This method of painting is a “dying art form,” and the product of long hours of work on each object. The fine shading, the small brush strokes, the intricate details are a result of very time-consuming process. No mass-produced decal design can be compared with these hand painted designs.

Anna Weatherley’s designs have been commissioned by Anna Wintour of Vogue for Princess Diana; she also created a collection for the White House and The Blair House - the official guest house for White House dignitaries, as well as The Buckingham Palace.

Add a touch of sophistication to your dining table with Anna's Palette antique shaped chargers. Crafted from porcelain in white as well as strikingly beautiful colors, these chargers feature a delicate scalloped gold edge. Mix and match dinnerware to create a unique table setting. Designed by Anna Weatherley, and hand painted in Anna Weatherley’s studio in Budapest Hungary by artisans whose were trained by Anna. Each piece is a true work of art, designed with beautiful colors, intricate flowers, leaves, and insects accented by 24-karat gold and modeled after centuries old botanical art. Five piece place setting includes dinner plate, salad plate, bread & butter plate, tea cup and saucer.

Measurements: 12 inches

Entertaining and helpful lessons
Format: Hardcover
My family loves this book. Used to read it to my daughter as a young girl and now she’s a teen. We still talk about the lessons learned in this book! The characters and illustrations crack me up: Smash, rip and ruin taught us a lot! And the ones without hands and noses! I couldn’t believe how long ago this book was written when we got it- all lessons still applicable today.

Fun Way to Teach Manners
Format: Hardcover
This book was one I read to my daughters when they were young and I am now reading it to my grandsons. I plan to read it to my fourth grade class, as well.

... over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!
Format: Hardcover
I wasn't sure how this would go over with my 3yo and 5yo boys but they loved it!! They always enjoy pulling it out and now I can refer back to the characters to remind them of their manners in a more positive way. The only thing is I kinda wish they had used a different animal than pig, since for some reason I don't like saying "don't be like the pigs" (since I don't really want them calling eachother or other kids pigs). But so far it has been fine :) It's also very nice they included "Be kind to animals, they have feelings too." We say that all the time around here since we have kitties. Also the part about table manners is great since we had already been teaching the kids to ask before being excused from the table.

Manners Can Be Fun
Format: Hardcover
What a cute book! I bought it for my 2 and 3 year old boys. We are attempting to teach them simple, common manners in a fun way and they love learning through books. Manners Can Be Fun presents manners in a simple, easy to understand, engaging way. The boys enjoy reading this book and it's a great way to have positive conversations about specific situations they experience daily like sharing toys, picking up after themselves, whining, meal time. It's a fun book!

Wonderful, simple book for children of all ages
Format: Hardcover
I am 65 years old and this was one of my first books. The revisions along the way have not changed the drawings that much. It is simple, but well illustrated, and gives a basic idea of good manners. I recommend it for every child - it makes them think about behavior. The way the author demonstrates "me first" and "whinney" have stuck with me all these years.
