The BASE Rack takes accessories and cargo loading to a whole new level of simplicity, speed, and personalization. The BASE Rack is fully-welded aluminum for lightweight strength that doesn't flex under load. It can therefore be mounted close to the vehicle roof for a slimline aesthetic and reduced drag. Its dovetail extrusion attachment system runs the full perimeter of the rack and along each internal beam providing endless mounting and attachment options. Adding, removing, and repositioning accessories and roof loads is quick and easy and individual items may be installed or removed without disturbing the whole load. Unlike traditional roof rack channels, the BASE Rack dovetail system doesn't collect dust and debris. This kit includes a 49 in (L) x 51 in (W) BASE Rack, mount kit with wind deflector to suit the Toyota Tacoma along with full guard rails. The rails attach quickly and easily to the dovetail extrusion around the rack's perimeter with some additional fixing points at the rack corners. A full guard rail system can be taken on or off in just a few minutes. The rails running around the perimeter of the rack act as a load block, helping to prevent larger items from shifting when loading and unloading, as well as during transit. The wider rack option allows for more accessories to be hung to the side without interference with the vehicle. It also allows for certain accessories such as aux lights to be mounted underneath the rack and for accessories to be mounted east-west (e.g., recovery boards) offering greater flexibility with cargo loading.Shipping Notes

Great stimulation for a 'busy' pup

I’ll admit I was a little skeptical since my German Shepherd is well over the recommended weight limit for this ball, but it’s been a huge hit. Even though it’s technically for smaller breeds, it has held up remarkably well so far. I’ve mostly kept it on the gentle mode, and that’s more than enough to grab her attention and keep her occupied for quite a while. The design is actually much tougher than the warnings suggest; the two halves screw together so securely that she hasn't been able to pry it open, which is impressive for a tough chewer. It’s been a great way to keep her mentally engaged indoors without worrying about the toy falling apart immediately.

Recommended for Small, Mellower Dogs, not the destructive, chewy kind

My dog loved this ball, maybe a little too much. He attacked it like it was a wild animal and left teeth marks and tears in the outer plastic. I decided to give it to my cats instead, who initially were very intrigued by it. The buff kitty even chirped to see it. He would roll around with it as it vibrated and hopped, but after a while he wasn’t that interested. I think I can get them to play with it if I don’t use it with them every day, maybe wait a few weeks between playtimes. Perhaps it is a little too large for cats. My dog, who is less than 30 lbs., might be too big for it, or maybe just his mouth is, or maybe because he’s a Boston Terrier and he always feels like it’s his duty to destroy all toys (all my Bostons were like that). But I don’t think I will let him have it again. Maybe a toy breed or puppy might be more of the appropriate size for this ball. Or someone who isn’t as destructive.
The instructions are almost unreadable because the text is so small. I couldn’t understand what I was supposed to do with the “installation process.” I did figure out how to turn it on and off by myself, however. There are four modes when it is on: gentle, normal, active, and lighting only (no vibration).
As a human, it is a fun thing to watch, even if it is just for the light show.

SMELLS MUSTY
Opened it up for our pup on his bday and it smelled like pure mold. We had to throw it out because it was just terrible smelling and we didn't want our pup to even put it in his mouth!
