Onderdeel van de Pop Trading Company & Paradiso capsule collection. 

Bestaande Pop-skateboards, overdrukt met Paradiso-ontwerp door Experimental Jetset. De boards zijn los te koop. Het bruine board heeft een zwarte bovenkant met wit Pop-logo. Het blanco board heeft een blanco bovenkant met wit Pop-logo. 

Capsule Collection
Gebaseerd op een concept van Experimental Jetset, is een selectie kleding en decks van Pop Trading Company overdrukt met varianten van het Paradiso gatenaffiche (oorspronkelijk in 1996 ontworpen door Experimental Jetset, en voor deze gelegenheid opnieuw aangepast). Het ontstane effect is een letterlijke vertaling van het idee van collaboratie (tussen Paradiso, Pop Trading Company, en Experimental Jetset).

Pop Trading Company
Pop is skateboarden in Amsterdam. Alles wat het doet – van de grootste samenwerking tot de kleinste details – komt daaruit voort. Als de afgelopen tien jaar iets hebben bewezen, dan is het wel dat je geen traditioneel skatebrand hoeft te zijn om te belichamen waar de cultuur voor staat. In een decennium waarin skateboarden en mode steeds meer zijn samengekomen, heeft Pop als katalysator mensen bij elkaar gebracht: lokale skaters en co-creators vanaf dag één een wereldwijde stem gegeven, en zijn familie laten groeien van de Benelux naar de rest van de wereld.

Experimental Jetset
Onafhankelijk grafisch ontwerpbureau, gevestigd in Amsterdam en opgericht in 1997 door Marieke Stolk, Erwin Brinkers en Danny van den Dungen. Gericht op grafische interventies en ruimtelijke installaties (een werkmethode die zij zelf omschrijven als “turning language into objects"), zijn zij betrokken geweest bij een groot aantal projecten voor culturele instituten in binnen- en buitenland. Sinds hun studiejaren aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie verbonden aan Paradiso met vormgeving voor verschillende clubnachten en inmiddels iconische programmaposters.

Very thin. You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. I first noticed the softness which was great. The quality is very thin. They are cool which is great. I have not washed them yet. I would suggest washing them on cool and gentle by themselves. And because they are so thin I would fluff dry for an hour if you have that setting. The two things that damages clothes and sheets, etc. are if you have an agitator in your washer, those ruin clothes and the heat you choose for the fabric you’re drying I always wash my clothes on cold. I do not have an agitator anymore and on delicate and thin fabrics, I use fluff dry. It is cool, but it will dry, especially if it is thin and I’ve had to dry my fine delicates a little bit longer on fluff that way they don’t shrink because the shrinking comes in from the heat from the dryer so keep that in mind another good thing to remember if you got white sheets like I did is that when you use your detergent add a little bit of borax or laundry booster and they will help get them clean and sparkly white. I am on the fence about whether I would recommend this or not if you’re tight on money and you take good care of them I would recommend that you get them. I’m a linen freak and I buy mostly expensive sheets and I thought I would try this out so that’s where I’m at.
